Technology is really important to us today because we depend a lot on our electronic gadgets. Ricoh has been the leader of digital office equipments and they have recently come up with new business model where they would like to investment more money not only to increase their productivity but to enhance the overall business working experience of their customers as well. Now Ricoh accelerates business shift with the help of their new business model that will help them to achieve more.
Ricoh MDS has already received a lot of appreciation across the world and they are one of the best digital office equipment providers. However, the company has decided that they will go one step further with their investment and now they would like to invest $300 million to come up with better office equipment strategies and plans. IDC and Ricoh MDS Engagement recently did a research where it was found that many companies across the globe spend a lot on their office management. Angele Boyd, IDC Group Vice President and General Manager of Imaging/Output Document Solutions and SMB said that smaller and medium size companies that spend $250 million on their office document management can save up to $6 million with the help of their new office document plan.
In another research done jointly by IDC and Ricoh it was found that many major and small size companies across the globe know about the over spending in information and document workflow but they are not able to understand how to reduce the cost simply because they don’t understand the basics of office documentation. This can be also because of lack of consolidation of observed and unobserved cost and also because of the executives working in the office that have no awareness about office document management. Shiro Kondo, President and CEO of Ricoh Company said that the new business plan will not only help their customers have better business but it will also help them to achieve the annual target of $3.3 billion in the next three years.
